Occupy Ballot Hall

New York.
Chicago.
Las Vegas.
Washington DC.
Susan B. Anthony Middle School? Yes!

We've been occupying Ballot Hall (after school from 3:30-4:15) since this past Tuesday. It started out with me, Mexico, and Gorpat. Then me, Mexico, Gorpat, and Mrs. Lanza (for about five minutes), and then one day, Nathan Shelby stayed for about 15 minutes, and that did it. We've had at least ten people there every day since then (two days).

We have a MISSION: Student council members are working our derrieres off to make our school BETTER and the administration is withholding funding for projects like Paint your Nails for Charity, Watch, watch Hopscotch, and The Great Cell Phone Fast.

We are occupying their turf because we just want them to consider our ideas, instead of ignoring our emails, refusing extra meetings, and talking to us like we're babies.

Comment on this post and tell us what you think. Are you wanting to make a change? Do you think that you could get something neat accomplished but you just need some help? TELL US ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check back for updates!!!!!!!
