Avoid Death to Cause it?

Last November, 2005, there were a bunch of roadside bombs in Haditha, Iraq, and the Marines were avoiding them as best they could. Recently, they found out that all of these Iraqi civilians were killed by the Marines in Haditha. Some were burnt. Sorry but it's true. Did the soldiers retaliate against the insurgents by killing innocent people? Anderson Cooper is showing it all live right now. They don't know who did it. That usually means America did.

Q: Do you think that we should keep this war up?

p.s. My report on Saddam Hussein and his regime on trial in the US only earned me a B, if anyone cares. I don't. War sucks.

Answer these questions:

Q: Have you ever been away from home for eight months? If so, where were you visiting?
Q: If you were a city, what would your nickname be? (i.e. the Big Easy or the Big Apple. Mine would be "Lylice City, the Land of Luck and Love!)

The Great Red Spot Has a Great Red Baby

Check out photos of Jupiter's NEW Great Red Spot at www.nasa.gov!

The planet is covered in tons of storms, which is what causes these Great Red Spots to exist! The new spot is half the size of the old one. What if babies came out half the size of their mother?!

Mexico and I are having a sleep-over right now at my house and we're watching Contact, starring Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey and we just saw info online about Jupiter. So, to keep with the solar system theme, we made star-shaped cookies with icing! Mexico's are just eclipsing mine, though, because she is using the cool cookie cutter and I am fashioning mine with my own two, clumsy hands!

Questions:
1. What's your favorite planet and why?
2. What's your favorite cookie and why?

Happy Birthday, Dear 102 floors!

The Empire State Building, the tallest building in New York City, turns 75 today! It was built in 1931. It only took 13 months to build. It took them six years to renovate the Pima Library in Tucson! The people from 1931 may not have had internet access, but they worked fast! Happy Birthday to a big, wonderful, tall building that has given us great movies and funny stories like people getting married at the top. Visit bbc.co.uk for the full story. You can post comments there, too!

Questions:
1. a. Have you ever visited New York City? If not, would you like to and why?
b. If so, did you go to the top of the ESB? How was it? If not, where did you go when you were there?
2. What city do you want to visit the most, and why?
