When Earthworms Roamed the Earth

A huge earthworm that was thought to be extinct was found in Washington! Go on kidsnewsroom.org and there is a great story about it. These worms survived ice ages 10,000 years ago! I love hearing about animals who can live for hundreds of years like turtles. And now worms! This kind of worm, a Palouse Earthworm, can't live after you cut it in half, like normal earthworms can.

After you read each article on this site, you should click on "Write Your Own Story Telling us What You Think." I always do. They might print it.

Q: What is your favorite non-pet animal (like an alligator or a rooster)? Why?

Hi Alberta, Thanks for writing. I agree. I just thought the bloggers in my community could use a break from the biggies. But I have tackled quite a hot topic on my March 20th post about doctors in Arizona. Check it out. How did you make out at the Mathletes Conference? I used to go to Bisby all the time when my dad was teaching at a private school there, Most Precious Blood of Jesus School. But we're not not Cathloic. he just taught there because he got health benefits. See you around. Bye, Lylice
